How does a Broadband Battery Backup Unit Work?
The Broadband Battery Backup is a compact Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system that is specially designed to supply devices like a router and ONT/modem for a long period of time when a power failure occurs.
The Broadband Battery Backup not only protects your equipment against power surges, but also gives you peace of mind in knowing that during a power outage you have enough energy to keep the your router and/or ONT/modem in your home connected to the Internet, so you can keep in touch with your loved ones, contact emergency services, continue a video conference or send critical emails.
Once installed, The Broadband Battery Backup will automatically switch to battery power when it detects loss of mains power and automatically start charging when mains power returns ensuring you always have a full battery when you need it most.
