What is a Broadband Battery Backup Unit?

Broadband Battery Backup – an uninterruptible power supply

Terminals (ONT) during a power outage.

How does a Broadband Battery Backup Unit Work?

The Broadband Battery Backup is a compact Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS) system that is specially designed to supply devices like a
router and ONT/modem for a long period of time when a power failure occurs.

The Broadband Battery Backup not only protects your
equipment against power surges, but also gives you peace of mind in knowing
that during a power outage you have enough energy to keep the your router and/or
ONT/modem in your home connected to the Internet, so you can keep in touch with
your loved ones, contact emergency services, continue a video conference or
send critical emails.

Once installed, The Broadband Battery Backup will
automatically switch to battery power when it detects loss of mains power and
automatically start charging when mains power returns ensuring you always have
a full battery when you need it most.

Can I cancel or edit my order?

You can cancel your order, whatever the reason is, if it
hasn’t been already dispatched. To cancel, click on the order number in your
confirmation email and follow the instructions on the site. If you have any

Can I change my shipping address?

Yes, you can change your shipping address. However, this is
only possible before your order has been shipped.

What is the return policy?

You may request a refund of the products delivered to you as
follows and subject to the “conditions for all types of returns” below: Change
of Mind/Unwanted Item (up to 14 days of receipt): If you wish to return your
product for any reason other than a fault, you can request a return for a full
refund via our customer services, or via My Account (account set up required)
within 14 days from receipt, if returned according to the “conditions for all
types of returns” below. Faulty Returns (up to 30 days of receipt): If your
product develops a fault within 30 days of receipt, you may request a full
refund or a product exchange per the process below. If we confirm a fault and
the fault is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we will either offer a
refund or a like for like replacement. If we no-longer stock the same item that
you ordered, we will offer a like for like replacement. This can be done via
the emailing us at accessories@getgofone.co.uk or via My Account (account set up required). Fault
Replacement (from 31 days up to 12 months of receipt): If your product develops
a fault from 31 days up to 12 months from receipt and the fault is covered by
the Product’s manufacturer’s warranty, you may request a like for like
replacement. This can be done via the web form or via My Account (account set
up required).



Ingram or one of our logistics partners (“Partner”) will help us process your
return. They will notify you when they have received your request, inform you
about the following steps and any updates regarding your returns process by
contacting the email address indicated in your email. Conditions for all types
of returns: Please make sure that the accessory you are returning is in its
original packaging, undamaged, and complete with all its original parts. Any
free or discounted promotional products you receive must also be included.

Full instructions will be provided in our online return’s
portal web form. You will be instructed to either (i) print off a returns label
for free Royal Mail postage with your nearest post office; or (ii) arrange for
Royal Mail to collect from your home. Costs for return may apply. Please make
sure your item is well protected in packaging to prevent any damage in transit.
Please follow the instructions carefully – the cost of any missing or damaged
items will be deducted from any refund you might be due. We’ll let you know if
this is the case. We may not accept the return of Products due to health
protection or hygienic reasons if unsealed by you after delivery, or which are,
after delivery, inseparably mixed with other items. Our returns policy won’t
affect any of your legal rights, which we can’t exclude. For more information
on your rights, contact your local Trading Standards office or Citizens Advice
Bureau.

What if I haven’t received my order within the expected
delivery time?

If you didn’t receive your product in the expected delivery
window, you can contact our logistics partner, Ingram via the accessories@getgofone.co.uk, who
will check and update you on the dispatch and courier status of your order. We
will inform you if we need to re-attempt the delivery and the options you have,
to receive your product. If we confirm that the product was lost during the
delivery due to our courier’s fault, we will reissue a new parcel for you and
where the product is no longer available, we will process you a refund.
